I was wondered if there is anybody else with almost the same timeline as mine (Recieved AOR letter May 9, dated April 26) still waiting for the decision to be made??? Or everybody has got the decision made status or sponsorship approval letter already?????

So worried now....

don't worry you will get the approval letter soon. my AOR letter was dated April 16 th and I got my approval letter yesterday dated May 11th.

So our assumptions here that Ottawa is faster by definition are not quite true. It all depends on individual cases I guess.

my medicals arrived to London on March 8 and they reviewed it on March 15... so it was fast... the problem was that they asked for additional test from my mom but did not tell me/her about it

no worries i am glad that i started this thread, and good luck to all of us now its another waiting moment and questions and querry time start now, the question would be who recived the AOR letter from the local vo, who got the medical and then who got the visa hahhaha ;D i hope by end of this year we all passed this theree questions and have our parents and brother and sister with us. may god shower his blessing on to us as we all waited so long for this.

Hi Shuga, did you receive the request at least now? If so, I hope the tests they requested are not that critical or time consuming.

That's what i mean...if there weren't tests required, Ottawa would have probably got your parents' results. SO it doesn't matter which medical office the results go to. It depends more on the results per se and what kind of additional tests needed etc.

yes - my mom started doing the additional tests... but it will take 2 months to complete them

i still think that Ottawa is faster because when other people sent medicals to Ottawa then cic did not forget to send them additional medicals request... but may be i was just unlucky...

How did your mom get these additional requests in the end? Did she phone the doctor? Just curious ...for the future.

Unfortunately, i think delays like this can happen anywhere.
As we see, some people didn't even get additional docs requests from Missisauga in November

we did not get the request...
i knew about the request because i orders FOSS notes with the copy of the medical records... so i got a copy of the letter and additional tests request that London asked CPP-O to send to me/my mom... so i just sent them to my mom, she brought it to the doctor and he started doing the tests... he did not ask for the 'oficial' request...

The medicals were sent to London February 29 and still no change to e-cas. I confirmed that they were delivered.

hate saying this - but your case might be similar to mine... medicals sent to London beginning of March, additional test are required - but i did not receive a request... status did not change to 'Medicals received' (i believe it changes when medicals are passed)...

asidhu, did you submit IMM5476 with your additional docs or not?

no, i didnt send imm5476 and im not sure if i shud send it (ottawa asked that in their e-mail to me)

Also , if i send, wht office should i select as "where application submitted"(ottawa/new delhi/mississauga)

asidhu5, up to you. If you want all requests to come to you and not to your parents, then submit it.
If your mom's file is in OTtawa, I would put Ottawa as an office.
