Did you email CHC ND? how did you get response, I have been sending emails too but no replies. or did you check through MP.

Yes, I emailed thrice CHC New Delhi, once to CPP ottawa and last week to the minister. I got response to the very first mail sent to ND.

They are annoying that way, don't give tracking # etc, i.e.., assuming they have actually mailed it - hope it's not jump the gun situation like Torontopta who is waiting for 2 months
Most of the folks who got it, did so within 4-5 days but it could be that they mailed it this week

The GCMS notes on my mom's application indicated that they had sent a letter for re-medicals around the end of Feb. The letter was actually mailed on 16th Mar.

tried looking up torontopta but couldnt find his timeline. whats going on with him?

I probably replied earlier too, but ya I am in a worse scenario. My parents's passport is lying in ND since Oct 2012. I checked GCMS and it shows visa issued in Ottawa at the start of Oct 2012, then file transferred to ND for issuance of visa, thats where it is stuck. I checked with MP and the guy at MP office says the visa is printed in ND but they delay it for some reason. Still waiting to hear back on reply from ND to the MP's email, its been 3 weeks. They are slow in everything. Just sit tight I guess. My feeling is they will issue it close to the medical expiry.

Thanks for the reply but his case is different. once ottawa issues the visa lvo-nd puts them back in queue or something. but then again you never know with immigration officers, praying and keeping my fingers crossed.

Earlier, once CPP-O approved - folks had the convenience of sending via VFS and return was 1 week. If you sent it directly then it was 1 month so not sure how he sent it but its surely taking a long time

Hi everyone
Hope u all goin wel. I have reached to Canada in toronto last month on 22april and became permanent resident.
It was such a great experience of rejoining with family.
It's so beautiful here(very similer to Aus) I have recieved my pr card and I also got the driving licence. It's fun to b here. Been to Niagara Falls and will b visiting Vancouver next month.
I know many of you are still waiting for visa and it's very hard to have more patience I been through that too. Please don't loose heart. Keep praying and don't loose hope. U r abt to achieve ur destination.
