Hello again everyone

I submitted my application to sponsor my parents and it was received at CPC-M on May 20th 2011. On November 9th 2012; I received a letter confirming that my application for family class was received. I know I will have to wait a few more years before I am contacted again but does anyone know what documents will be requested at that time? I have been accumulating my Notice of Assessments and maintaining my income level to what is required. I was told that if my martial status changes (I am currently single) or I have a child I need to contact CPC-M immediately. Out of curiosity I was wondering how this really affects a sponsorship and if I get married would my spouse have to co- sign?

Each additional family member will increase the LICO for original sponsor, not sure if you can accommodate co-signer at this stage

Elizebeth..The 30% increase is not for people who have already filed their applications..so u dnt fall in this category.. The 30% increase is for the applicants who would be applying for their parnts from 2014 onwards.. So u dont have to worry about the increase

I dont think you will be in the 30% increase, that for newer apps but yes, as for single - we pay the price for it

With NDVO, any interaction is a good sign....at least it shows someone is going through your file...

definitely. for those who are waiting its always a good idea to pay it in advance as it saves them having to contact you to pay it and then get back to your file.

got an email with my GCMS notes that i ordered 4 weeks ago. shows that on 4th of this month they still hadn't started criminality check.
