Those who have applied in Sept 2010 ,did you guys have ' application recieved 'status on cic website or 'in process'? Any input with the application.

For some they ask, like in my case, they did internal and it shows No Trace Found in RCMP Screening

dear raja, was your father in army? could it be the reason why our case is taking this much long? our medical gonna be expire in 4 days i heard that background check may take 9-21 month long specially for someone who was in army?!i hope you get your visa asap

its just my mom, no army or police background. no travel history apart from one 5 month trip to Canada.

Army background takes long, it has been established.

would you mind updating us when the case was filed and your timelines when the case was transferred to delhi etc.

It will give us a little idea on the files they are processing.

Its been a long wait and passports are with DElhi for over 5 months but no response

Hello again everyone

I submitted my application to sponsor my parents and it was received at CPC-M on May 20th 2011. On November 9th 2012; I received a letter confirming that my application for family class was received. I know I will have to wait a few more years before I am contacted again but does anyone know what documents will be requested at that time? I have been accumulating my Notice of Assessments and maintaining my income level to what is required. I was told that if my martial status changes (I am currently single) or I have a child I need to contact CPC-M immediately. Out of curiosity I was wondering how this really affects a sponsorship and if I get married would my spouse have to co- sign?

most of the dates are under my user id. took 6.5 months after submitting passports.
