The address changed on Saturday. My dad is in Mumbai. The pp arrived at 5.00PM Indian time on Monday eve. The status still shows in-process on ecas

Last night the mailing address changed to Indian address in ECAS. Does this mean anything? I mean in terms of progress on the application? Although it still shows in process as the status. Any thoughts please?

In April it was the mailing address that changed as I had requested them to change it. On May 25 it was the home address that changed to a Canadian city, province and country.

I think i forgot to mention, that on april 18th my mailing address in India was updated as well.

ND uses registered post ( takes 4 days from ND to Mumbai ), maybe faster in other cities
P.S - Do they just sent Passport or some sort of letter suggesting Welcome to Kaneda?

My mailing address is Amritsar so maybe that would explain the delay. Will update you once the passport is received.

The visa issue date is May 17. The pp was stamped with the visa and they sent a document with it called confirmation of permanent residence.

So if the files approved for PR Visa by CPC ottawa are struck at New Delhi CHC for months, can we take any legal assitance ? I have received no response to my mails sent to CHC Delhi, CPP ottawa or to the immigration minister.

No legal recourse for delay - what is your case? sent PP to ND for Stamping?

Not sure, I am thinking it would be faster between major cities such as new delhi and mumbai. Amritsar does not fit in the definition of major city. lets see what happens over the next few days.
