So if the files approved for PR Visa by CPC ottawa are struck at New Delhi CHC for months, can we take any legal assitance ? I have received no response to my mails sent to CHC Delhi, CPP ottawa or to the immigration minister.

based on the timelines posted on the cic website, you cannot do much.

Case has been approved by CPP ottawa and PP send to ND via VFS in March. Ecas shows decision made.Have not heard back anything from them. Seems some kind of adminstrative delay. Have ordered GCMS to see whats the issue. Father is retired defence officer, perhaps that could cause delay.

Your file is complete, there is no further processing and there is another user in the same boat as you. It used to be 1 week turnaround time, perhaps they are not delaying to line it up with ND apps - just a thought

after that sponsership approved on 22nd november
after that delhi had asked for the passports, medicals and police clearence on march 2nd 2013
i had sent the passport on 6th march
ndvo had got the passport on 7th march
and after that no news yet
can anyone tell me how much time will they take nd what will be the next step
online status is showing application recieved
can anyone tell me what will be the next :'(

applicants who sent passports in nov 2012 are still waiting. based on past experience it takes about 5-7 months after passport request.

There is only 1 parents category? which one are you talking about and 10 month process? never heard of it

The OP is the child of parents living in Canada. In his case, the parents are sponsoring the child unlike this thread which pertains to children sponsoring their parents.
