Seeing other's timelines, anywhere from 7 months + from date of meds

hi dear friends,
my brother is our sponsor (my parents and me) we have undergone our medical examination in Tehran about 11.5 months ago. could anyone please give us more information, what will happen after the expiration? is out visa time near?i appreciate that.

E Cas shows decision made since Mar 18, 2013. What can be done to get the visa printed at New Delhi? My understanding was the CPP ottawa was made to help process straight forward cases and get the visa issued at local office.

You seems to be very patient. When did your parents submit the passport?

Indeed I think it would have been better if my file was not actually transferred to the Pilot project in Ottawa as I see people who applied after me getting visa whose file got processed in New Delhi only.
I have tried all the things I could, GCMS notes, talking to MP, sending emails. Waiting to hear back on MP query. My parents submitted passports in Oct 2012.

not true, many people from ottawa got passports stamped quickly while some nd applicants are waiting longer. so either way its all just a draw of luck.

I guess you are right. It would be futile to draw some trends out of what happens with these applications. MP office said its taking lot longer for ND to even reply to their queries. Around 1 month now as against 2-3 days in past. So there is really no way out other than just wait and wait.

in the worst case they will ask you to have another medical exam.

I guess you are right. It would be futile to draw some trends out of what happens with these applications. MP office said its taking lot longer for ND to even reply to their queries. Around 1 month now as against 2-3 days in past. So there is really no way out other than just wait and wait.

I think LVO-ND has stopped working on parent/grandparent application now. haven't heard of any updates in a while now. hopefully they have enough room in this years quota to at least finish the 2008-2009 applications.

Application- Nov 25th 2007
transfered to Vienaa- May 6th 2012

I contacted CIC back in January 2013 asked them for an update, they said its still in process

No medicals done yet.

CIC mississauga said our income didnt meet the requirement but still transferred our case to Vienna. I emailed Vienna with documentation about our income that back in 2007 we didnt make as much as we are making now.

Anyone have any answers? its such a long process

The earlier wave got very lucky, I would recommend people to invite folks on supervisa so they get a stay for 2 years, then when M'ssauga ask for that paperwork ( which we got in 2011 ), to say office: USA, and technically should be sent to Ottawa. This is only possible as parent is allowed to live more than 1 year

So many can be saved by the wrath of New Delhi and get passport stamped internally as well, wish I knew this earlier

i gave that exact advice to one of my family friends on the weekend. unfortunately I won't be able to practice what i preach since our passports are stuck at LVO-ND.

I don't think so. my guess is that they work on a quarterly basis and hence the delay.
