Did you tell them it's urgent and it's been 6 weeks since your father sent his papers. I would say it is urgent as they made a commitment to respond in 6 weeks. If they don't respond for another 28 days that's another month lost.
I don't see any reason for your dad's COPR not to have been issued by now as it was all approved. Hope you get a response soon. Can you call them instead?

Hello,

I have a parent sponsorship application files in May 2008.

I received request for documents on Nov 2011. we got approved on August 2012 and our file was transferred to Ankara Turkey.

at the end of November 2012, the status in e-cas show "Start Processing".

Does anybody have any timeline for how long would it take before we being requested for Medical exam?

Hi Everyone,

My mother's medicals were done on 22 November 2012 in Canada, as she was on supervisa; Her case is going in New Delhi LVO. The Doctor send the medical reports to ottawa office, but still E-cas shows Just Application Received. As per gaggidhillon's advise I contacted the Doctor's office; if they can send the medical reports to New Delhi office on my courier expenses. But with the receipt of $20; they handed over the photocopies of the medical reports to me to send the same to the concerned LVO. I did the same with a cover letter stating that the medicals were received from the doctor's office and also send the photocopy of the $20 receipt received the Doctor's office. But still no response. I emailed the same and also couriered to the New Delhi Office. both have reached there.

But still no progress; No medical updates at all.

What should I do? Any suggestions.

Current Country of Residence, - so if folks are here to Visit with ore than 6 months now then its Canada? and what will be TO: Date ( Expiry of Visa ) or Sign in Date

As per CIC Guideline see below but I always though Country of Residence would be home country unless

I would suggest that you do enquire again stating that it is urgent as you have not had any response for more than 6 weeks. Personally I don't think you should have to wait another 28 days for a response. Did you tell them in the email that your dad made a mistake with the return envelope?

I found the letter with the reference to 6 weeks which says " If you have not heard from us after 6 weeks you may contact us by email."

Yes I have the same problem but I log in from my ipad sucessfully.
