Does that matter in processing time?
i dont know i am also looking for answer to that question bcoz my case is straight forward i am dep< 22 at the time of sponsership so my mother never work in police and military so i am thinking that her stay in usa can be the only reason for delay otherwise i also got visa in 10-20 days after submission .she has a legal status in usa so i cant find the reason why they are delaying case

oh, well, look at Raju and some other posters, they are waiting before you. They might be verifying docs, who knows what goes on in processing - as long as the file is there, no issues

As far as I know, rajus mother is in India. But what exactly are you waiting from other members? that if they have some travel history - even if they do, what would that add to any processing time
I am yet to understand the point of them asking travel history, what is it for

Really? can you show me as I tried to search but couldn't find anything concrete
My parents have lot of travel history from last 30 years. I would imagine if person was able to travel, means they had visas which are given to people with clean security/allowed to enter countries etc
But yet again, now I see another delay

My father mailed passport copies to London cic on dec 11.he did not receive copr until now.today it's 6 weeks over when he mailed his passport copies.is there anyone who mailed passport to London cic in dec and did not receive copr yet.

You should contact them if 6 weeks have passed. I think I mentioned before that in the letter they specifically say they would not respond before 6 weeks but after that they will/should respond. Did you send a special delivery envelope? That's a question you should ask ,whether sending an envelope now would be helpful.
