Sponsorparents why not send a fax?

Hi Sponsorparents - Are you representative on your parents application? If not, I'd recommend become ASAP. If your parents are in India, then courier them IMM5476 with your signatures and they will sign and courier it to CPP-Ottawa. After then if you inquire about the status, they will entertain the request.

I just read your earlier posts and you mentioned that your parents did not submit IMM5476. In IMM5476, you may choose your Canadian address as mailing address and your own email for communication.

Thanks, I am not a representative as of yet. I have already started the process. I guess it would take at least 10 days to send the completed IMM5476. But will do that for sure.

Yesterday I called CIC call centre and they have my wrong e-mail ID and phone number in there system. Now my impression is that CPP-O sent letter to my parents address in India. I asked my dad to print and fill IMM5476 form and sign send to me then I will sign and send to CPP-O.

Thanks Van80, when I call CIC last time it seems they had the right email address on file, but I will double check on Monday.

Do we have to send this representative form to CPC-M. CIC website saying.. If you have already submitted your application, send this form to the office where you submitted your original application.

Hmm... I think so, if CPC-M then it may take so long as the office is so busy... But I dont think we have another option.

If I am following it correctly, the question is where to send the Representative Form. It should be sent to CPP-O. In the approval letter, it was mentioned that any further documentation should be sent to Ottawa.

what if send the representative form to both Mississauga and Ottawa? there is no difference for parents - so sign and send one form or two... if they sign two forms - then one can be send to CPC-M and another to CPP-O...

In my case, I submitted my parents application at CPC - Mississauga and after approval letter CIC trasfer my file to New- Delhi India. Now i want to submit rep form.

do i have to send representative form autho letter to CPC - M or New delhi?

your reply would be greatly appreciated.

I sent e-mail to New - Delhi local visa office for timeline enquiry, No answer yet but CIC reply back by automated e-mail with two links....hope it will help others little bit and looks like timeframe is between 0 to 19+ months to finalised application at local visa office (New-Delhi).
