MP inquiry- Just received call from MP's office my file is still in line even for its first review...They received my file on oct15'12 not in sep'12 my MP's assistance also requested ND to send me medical request like others. ND did not reply for that question just said," its in process". Why always me? :'(

Kandel ,I'm sorry to hear that your case has not progressed and can understand your frustration. Maybe now the enquiry has been made it will stir things up,hope so.

thanks but what if next batch is in November 2013?

Kandel ,be positive and optimistic.I don't think so it will be in Nov 13.By then all the members who got meds would get visas.You will get med request before mid year.Don't worry.

i received med nd pasport req on 8 nov 2012 nd med were done on 28-11-12 nd med nd pasport were sent on 13-12-12.(we are 3 member nd med was done together}
nd on 28-12-12 recived letter from delhi abt my mother medical 2 v done again. but no specific test was mentioned . so i consulted with with the doc from were the med was done they gave a letter stating med ws done nd snt on 13-12-12 .. with courier company name nd track num . nd sent tht letter on 7-1-12 .. till then there no chng in the status. cn any one tell how much tym it take for chng in status?
what wat should v the problm that they hav sent da med again without mentionin any specific test ?
what has 2 v done now?
plz help me regarding this .

I guess if the letter was just for your Mom then it means they needed her tests again.If no test was mentioned then may me they needed the whole medical again.
Now you can wait 4 weeks for updte or new communication from them.

guramrit: But send a reply to CIC informing that :
A. Medicals were done for your mother and the report sent by the doctors. (include the tracking number details etc)
B. Mention that it is not clear if re-medicals need to be done for you mother or if any specific tests need to be done. (include the copy of the letter CIC had sent you - highlight the portion which you think indicates that CIC wants medical for your mother)
C. Ask what is now expected of your mother as regards the medicals.

Does the passports get visa stamped at the LVO or they are sent to CPP ottawa to be stamped and then sent back to LVO?

If visa needs to be stamped on the passport, it is mailed to LVO and LVO will stamp the Visa in the passport. Several LVO' also give the option to mail the passports to VAC's (visa Application Center), who then forward it to LVO.

*Letter you receive to mail the passport will have the exact address where to mail the passport.

Have you received the reuest letter for the Medicals from New Delhi? You need to attach the request letter along with the documents as CIC New delhi ask for it in the letter they send to you.

Nope, well not technically but as per GCMS they did send However, the meds is actually not a problem since the forms are only for India, we have to request special forms for outside India and there is 1 user ( glittershine ) here who waited and couldn't get any reply, went to DMP and they took the info and mailed it to Ottawa

Infact, the DMP I am booked for emailed me the following, as you can see they did it w/o the forms since they have it, just fill the info and send it

Good to know that you are you are proceeding with the medical tests and getting ready with the documents. Probably by that time you will get the letter also from CIC.
