My parents PR application decision has been made. Just now I checked e-cas and it is decision made. E-cas reads as follows:

"We received your application for permanent residence on January 2, 2008.

We started processing your application on November 16, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Wow decison in 3 days.....congrats!

in the same e mail they ask my father to take all passports with him to the doctor and two photos
my question is do your parents took their passports to the doctor ?

Syrian yes everyone takes their passport with them while going for medical exam.

Since this morning I have gone into flashback of almost 5 years. I mailed my parents sponsorship application on December 30, 2007 and since then I've been waiting. CIC received my app on Feb 02, 2008....

Yeah man, its been long time - kept personal options pending this sponsorship,and I am still waiting for the elephant to even show his trunk from New Delhi. It is ridiculously delayed considering other timelines

Now my turn to share good news. This morning, I received a passport request for my mom!!! Yay! The only challenge is that it came from the Embassy in Moscow and the passport has to go to the Embassy in Moscow within 30 days. But my mom is here Passports cannot be mailed out of Russia. This is the law and nothing can be done about it.

Any thoughts?

By the way, my e-cas still states "Application received."

I just want to update you all (been quiet for a long time here). We got my parents visas. Sent visa DHL from local visa office to Canada. My parents are here in Canada on Super Visa. The date of issue is October 11, 2012. To all still waiting, God bless! God is good all the time!
