Thanks Joshua for your reply. I have printed the oath and the national anthem and having my Dad practice it at home before the ceremony. I will make sure that he is spelling it out loud at the ceremony and of course I will be there as well and would repeat it as well second time though for me.

Thanks for sharing your experience. My father will have his ceremony on 18th Sep and so was curious to know - how about the national anthem singing in English and French. Is everyone expected to sing it loud and clear in both the languages?

Don’t worry, my father was also asked the same question whether he will leave after getting citizenship. Though the question seemed irrelevant to me.

For entry exit record you can just create it yourself from the stamps on your passport showing date , place of entry and exit and also provide any proof like doctor appointment etc of your presence in Canada. That is what I did for my father when they requested same for his PR renewal.

Yes that is possible and a viable solution. As for repeating oath after the officer, in case the applicant keeps the written oath in their hand and repeat the oath by reading from it just in case they are not able to understand or hear the officer then this should be fine as well.
