Today I just received THE e-mail from Ottawa to submit passports to Bucharest!
Finally the waiting is over for us!

Today I got GCMS too, decision was made on July 31, and until today, Nov 1 when I got request to send passport the only update for last 3 months it was a note with my message sent to them to inquiry about the status!
Due date was:2012/09/21 and secondary office was Buffalo !!!???

Today We have received an e mail requesting to submit passport within 30 days of all after medical done. We have not received any medical request yet. Confused.

We know that CIC send some documents to us on 3rd Oct 2012 but we still have not received any of those.

Has anyone received any e mail like this to submit passport?

Hi Subh-Mit-INDIA,

- Could you post the text of the email that you received?
- How did you come to know that CIC sent some documents on 3rd Oct - which you have not yet received?

Points to consider before sending passport - For medicals, you (your parents) need to take original passports along with you. If you send passports before medicals, then it would be difficult for you to undergo the medicals.

Send a case-specific inquiry or fax to LVO and inform them about your situation.

My guess-- CIC sent you medical request on Oct 3'2012 , which you did not receive. They are assuming that you did and they are just reminding you to send passports aswell. Now you need to contact them and tell them what really happened

Fax Delhi right away, they reply to faxes quickly, email and case=specific will take a while

WOW What a relief....... I just called CIC office at 1-888-242-2100 no and got lucky to have a chat with Mr. Alvero.... I told him the situation about how CIC New Delhi is asking for all the Information again.... He asked me to hold and then come up with answer that they will work internally and all the documents that I have submitted got transferred to New Delhi office. I don't need to send them any documents. All I need to do is send an email to New Delhi Office that CIC Office in Mississauga will be sending all the documents internally..... CONFIDENTLY SUGGESTED NOT TO SEND ANY DOCUMENTS, CIC-MISSISSAUGA HAVE ALL DOCUMENTS THEY NEED...... AND ALSO TOLD ME THEY ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON YOUR APPLICATION...... ???

So I am sending them a draft letter via fax and also letter and fax confirmation via e-mail......

That indeed is a WOW! In your letter/fax, do not forget to add the sentence "Let us know if we still need to send the documents you requested..." just so that the LVO would not say that you did not provide them what they requested.
