Doesn't matter what quotas they release, because the CPC's and lvo's are too slow to finish anything within the time frame anyway.
There are no audits recently of cpc-m or the visa offices that are backlogged in every category.

So it doesn't matter whether its cpc-m, cpp-o or visa offices.

Even the updated documents and PCC's are now 'old' already and file is not even touched.

Hopefully it can be finished within our lifespans lol.

LOL
I hope so.
Don't loose hope .LVO's are really super slow but once Ottawa is done which looks like they used most of quota of 2012 at Ottawa may be all the resources will be used for LVO.and I hope they won't lift freeze from parental applications until all of us get visas.(how mean of me).
By March April we could see the real picture of LVO.All the 2013 Quotas is for us LVO people .(with God's will)

Hi guys, just a quick question:

Has anyone getting the PP request (and whose parents are currently in Canada, on visitor visa) tried to take an appointment with a CIC officer in order to get the landing done within Canada?

I remember reading a post about the huge waiting time for this (around 2 months) and I'm trying to figure which path to follow:
- to send my mom back & forth to our home country (so she could do the landing in airport),
- to go to Cuba for half day (as Cuba does not request visa for Romanian citizen)
- to go to US for half day (but my mom has no US visa entry...)

i think new delhi send medical request in bulk ,now they will send next medical request in october 2013 ,i have been in my 10th month of Aor my file transfer to delhi janurary 2011,but my initial application march 2008 ,i dont think i will hear from them until october 2013

HI FRND HAVE U ORDERED GCMS NOTES AGAIN OR ANY NEWS

no news, ordered last month - PCC received by them, rest everything is "not started' and Status is 'Application Received" in March 2008
Meanwhile, I requested to extend my parents visitor visa and I feel I might get those papers before I receive the real deal

One of the options above
..but i read that ( think it was Rajmalhotra ) that you can go at the border and tell them I need to get back to Canada for stamping and they just let you in the other side

thats scary, I am same as original app but your file reached delhi b4 mine and we have seen folks after us get the job done? and off course we have seen 2009'ers from CPP-O get it done too

Perhaps its on the visa officer or there is total mis-management, unless you believe in Saturn's bad luck

My cousin did the same thing, turned back with her nephew at the border to get his student visa entry. It did work, however must say it was 3 years ago and at Sault Ste Marie US/CAN border. I do believe it can be done at other borders as well.

Once a year Medical will take ages to finish the backlog. The process will even slower then normal routines before the freeze.I am very hopeful you guys will be surprised with the speeds of LVOs.We have done nothing wrong to be treated like this.
I am pretty sure from March April things will pick up.

Gaggi- Yup hopefully.
Veeru- Dont worry friend it wont take this long. God knows we have been waiting from longg time. Take care.
Deepak- Very well said.
Lucky- You are right
;D

You are lucky your file went to Ottawa and you only applied in 2009.It is nothing compared to most of us who applied in 2007 and still sitting at approval stage,no medicals no PPr request.
According to our forum statistics you will be getting passport request and visa within 2 to 5 months.
Please update your timeline in our spread sheet or just wrte here.
Thanks.

Thanks for quick response.
Actually its very confusing, When I go to CIC website to check status of the application its still showing me "Application Received". It is not changed since I applied. As of now also its keep showing "Application Received", Since 2009 its showing same status. So I sought to this forum to find out. Has anybody else also experienced same issues with STATUS on CIC website?
