does he see Medicals received status?

my understanding is that medicals go to the medical office, then being reviewed by medical officer, then he updates the system if they passed and status changes to 'Medicals received' meaning they are received by Ottawa...

the possibilities are:
- medicals were never sent to Medical office;
- medicals were send but were lost either by post service or lost in Medical office;
- the medicals were send, delivered and currently being reviewed by Medical office;
- medicals were reviewed by Medical office, additional tests were requested but he missed the request... Medical office is waiting for additional tests;
- any other possibility that i cannot predict

visa office .. cpp ottawa
medical requested... 20 april 2012
medical done ... 30 april 2012 [in lahore pakistan and sent to new delhi]
in july 2012 status changed from app recieved to in process

today his mp inquired and he was told cpp ottawa still waiting for his parents medical .so strange guys its been 6 months no reminder from cpp ottawa for the medical again ....




any suggestion plz thanks...

Your friend's case is the first one which is being processed in Ottawa from Pakistan.All Pakistani members on this forum and other Trackitt have their cases in LVO Islamabad. CIC transferred the cases back to Islamabad ,even If they initially went to Ottawa.Your friend is really lucky.
What is his timeline.

it was an appeal case from aug 2006
islamabad rejected it back in may 2011
he win the appeal and was sent to cpp ottawa

but its the first case whose medical was done and not received by visa office more then 6 months but no reminder now mp says they are still waiting for the medical...

Medical status should be received if it is passed.May be they were sent a medical furthurance notice which they didn't recevied.Or may be they dont want to update and will send a Passport request as he already won the appeal ,if on medical grounds.Best thing is to order GCMS notes .

hi deepak i think you and me have close date of initial application that is 11 april 2008 and 15 april 2008 so we expect to hear medical at same time keep in touch and me to inform for any news

Not true, even after medical received and passed my status stayed 'Application Received'. Best thing is to contact the doctor who has done the medicals. I am affraid medical results might have been lost or misplaced.

Doesn't matter what quotas they release, because the CPC's and lvo's are too slow to finish anything within the time frame anyway.
There are no audits recently of cpc-m or the visa offices that are backlogged in every category.

So it doesn't matter whether its cpc-m, cpp-o or visa offices.

Even the updated documents and PCC's are now 'old' already and file is not even touched.

Hopefully it can be finished within our lifespans lol.
