WHat about buying an Xpresspost envelope? Did they not offer you those Canada Post? They are prepaid and you could enclose them when mailing the passport.Peter Rabbit said:Friends, I need your help again, please!
The letter from Ottawa states: "your passports are to be sent by pre-paid courrier, at your expense, with the return cost included".
I just got back from the post office, where Canada post does not deliver such service.
So, if you were in a similar situation, what company have you used to send your parent's passport abroad to the Canadian embassy?
Mom is here.
She can do landing here but she still needs to send her passport to the canadian embassy in her country of origin to get the pr document.
Please kindly advise!
Thank you
my guess is that CIC looks at the income in line 150 of Option C printout (and/or other documents provided) compares with LICO and calculates for how many people the requirements are met... and then compares with the real number of people in the family (sponsor+spouse+kids+sponsored parents)...Suin said:could you please advise how they check sponsor's eligibility with the initial docs request?
that's what i see in my GCMS notes:Shuga said:my guess is that CIC looks at the income in line 150 of Option C printout (and/or other documents provided) compares with LICO and calculates for how many people the requirements are met... and then compares with the real number of people in the family (sponsor+spouse+kids+sponsored parents)...

there are 2 ways of calculating income according to finance evaluation form: based on line 150 from option C printout and based on 12 months income (personal income from employment, from business, from rental, investment, interest)... and it looks like you can use whatever is higher...Suin said:in our case, the line 150 is showing three times less than the gross income we have...
