My e-cas status changed to "Decision Made" today, yesterday it was "Application Received".
The weird thing is my Dad's name appear in two rows (as sponsored person), for one row it still says "Application Received".
I thought my Mom's name appear in second row once "Decision Made".

And which letter is in front of your file number?

Yes its Offier DJ. Mine also starts with F, I assume its their code for "family class".

Is there any ony one from Pakistan who received any e mail for transfer of documents? I submitted my documents in last week of December....with no updates yet. The time line mentioned in the e mail from CIC to some of the members is both around 44 months......Is this time for both processes....inside Canada and local office or this is for local office process time only?......Thanks to every one for sharing the experiences.

I have parents and 2 dependants on my application. Another experience I want to share with the members that one of my friend who applied in may 2008, didn't receive letter in Nov 2011..he called CIC and was told that letter was sent to him....I guess letter was lost.....CIC is sending him letter once again......SUggestiion for those who applied on 2008 for sponsorship and who haven't receive letter should call CIC and inquire.

For all practical purposes, a supervisa is just another form of trv, but with certain ceavats and other reliefs. As such, just like trv, the supervisa should be applied at the local office and not within Canada.

We don't have any dependent children accompanying my parents. I have one brother but he was not sponsered. So It is just my parents only.

CIC Missisauga received docs on Jan 10
Issued letter on Feb15 asking for missing docs.................got letter in mail on 17 feb ( i hv 30 days to respond)

They need birth and marriage certificate . Both were unavailable as in old times no one felt like registering a birth or marriage.

In hindsight, I think i shud hv sent an affidavit, but i sent my momz 10th certificate with right DOB,but tht wasnt sufficient.

As per marriage, I wud hv to send an affidavit too. Plus my father is deceased,(sent dad's death cert. too); so i guess affidavit will be sufficient.

Anyways, wanted to share my experience and hope others will be aware.

I got the same letter asking about affidavit for my parents date of birth earlier i sent their matric certificate for date of birth and it reached mississauga on jan 3rd and feb 3rd i got my application back-wish CIC could have explain that little better in detail .But anyway file sent back with affidavit which i received from my parents and file reached mississauga on feb 20th and i am not sure if that will kick me out from the earlier lineup .But still hope everything goes good .

One of my friend sent his documents in the December last week, he has not got any response yet.

My friend received a letter from CPC-M on Friday. He got approved as sponsor and his file transferred to Ottawa. He sent documents in the last week of December, 2011.

I think Browneagle is next.
