CIC Call Centre too busy always.

Getting frustrated with delay from CPC-M.

How long to wait before sending them a fax ??

Seems like CIC are finally working. Mine changed to decision made as well. Will wait for the letter to see where the file has been transferred. I have no dependents.

Finally - my status has changed to 'Medical results have been received'.

I wanted to add my voice to the congratulations on your good news.Although I haven't communicated with you before I have been interested in your case as a benchmark for the rest of us since you were so fast at submitting your paperwork. It's a shame you had to have the delay surrounding your mother's re -med but hopefully now it won't be too long before finalisation. Do you have any thoughts as to how long it might be now? Are you thinking months or weeks? Some applications seem to be finalised only weeks after medical approval so hopefully that will be the case with you.

we made an inquiry through MP ..they said file is in final review.. i was like wtf we already know.. sent passports like 7 months ago and paid landing fees.. i have no idea what they are doing with my file now..

All - in desperate need for some guidance. Parents Passports were requested Dec 2011 along with medical request. Medical done and passport sent on January 17, 2012 to CHC New Delhi. It has been over 7 months and no response. Sent CSE, still no response - even tried sending a letter. Not sure where to turn to now. To make matters worse, my mom is Malaysian citizen living in India with PIO and her passport will expire in 6 months - need to renew passport as well. Any guidance/suggestions will be truly appreciated.

From my experience (a pretty recent one), it took me about 2 months to get medical request.
