Still waiting for acknowledgement letter and approval from CIC.
How many from May are still waiting for acknowledgement here?

i submitted the documents on may 23 and they where recieved on may 24 still waiting ....

can we file a petition? its really very frustrating and there is no order of processing, those who applied in late 2008 already got medicals and those who applied in nov, dec 2007 and in beginning of 2008 no response!!!!! and one thing i am repeatedly saying is that when one office can process so fast why can't other? and only Ottawa has Pilot Project, why not other offices? something has to be done otherwise we will have to wait for couple of years

Yes, I called them but the agent did not have any news and she told me to call every month in order to check the status of the file... I guess, many employees in CPC-M are on vacation now, plus they slowed down processing the files, so I have the feeling that we won't get any news until the September-October 2012... Hope I am wrong ! :-X

Sponsorourparents.org organized rally in Toronto Downtown back in 2010. Similar events can be organized to attract media's attention for the long processing time. Government is very sensitive about anything from media.

I think that's good idea. A rally would help. May be if people form other forums can also join and it can be a good show.

I believe approaching toward sponsorourparents.org is a good idea as they already have some experience with this. We can request them to organize and we all can join and campain for it to make it succesfull. I think they are also waiting for 2012Q1 to see if any improvement.

yes.......now I am getting some support to my posts.......yes I fully agree we should contact sponsorourparents.org and ask there help and also ask them to provide guidance to contact media......I think we should also contact NDP, because Late Mr Jack Layton also raised concern for faster processing of parental files in Fed. election.......so guys lets proceed for this

thanks sibnadian, definitely something must be done....I don't understand how they take decision to transfer files? some files are transferred to Ottawa and some to local VO's.....and files transferred to Ottawa are ONLY considered as PILOT PROJECT, what about files transferred to other VO's? This is no way for processing files......all files no matter where they are transferred to MUST be treated under PILOT PROJECT and given equal importance.
Those who applied in 2009 and files transferred to Ottawa got medical and who applied in 2007 (like me) files transferred to ND and not hearing anything!!!! Why ND and other VO files are not considered under PILOT PROJECT? This issue must be raised

I have received email requesting for Medical and PCC from Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa for my parents.

I have couple of questions.

Mississauga office requested addtional documents in december 2011. We have already sent PCC in Feb 2012 with additonal documets. Should we get the new PCC again and send to Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa or just inform them that PCC already sent?

If medical is cleared, Where should submission of passport is requested(Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa or LVO)?
please let me know.

Vinay13 congratulations! this really is a good news...
In my case I did not submit PCC in Mississauga and therefore Ottawa specifically asked for PCC.
There is no one here on the forum who have received passport request from ottawa office. I did receive an email from the Ottawa office asked where my parents live so that they could send the file there for the final steps.
So I guess ultimately files will be transferred to the country where your parents currently reside.
