Woohoo........got the passport request for my mom................. They want us to send it to New Delhi(LVO). Since my mom is here already, can she get her visa issued from Ottawa??? anyone has any experiences.

Singhnx, Congratulations on the passport request. Are you 100% sure that they asked for medical and passport at the same time. Usually medical and PCC are requested, then if medicals clear, then you get a passport request. I guess you will know better when you receive the scanned letter.

If your case goes to ottawa, u can get medicals done in toronto. I did the same thing for my mom. I also suggest you become ur mother's unpaid representative.

gaggi did u file urself or use a professional ? It seems in ur case, a professional would have been helpful. But then again, professionals can make mistakes too. A seasoned professional can sense wht CIC will ask for and can be pro-active. BTW, I am just an individual and am not advertising...

since your case went to Delhi, so put delhi as location. Mail this to New Delhi 's adress. It should be in the letter. I asked my consultant frnd on this, he said dont be too technical, CIC will know wht to take from IMM5476.

no, i didnt send imm5476 and im not sure if i shud send it (ottawa asked that in their e-mail to me) Also , if i send, wht office should i select as "where application submitted"(ottawa/new delhi/mississauga)

wec660, i sent am e-mail to ottawa to change my mom's mailing address. sent e-mail on: may 3 got reply saying updated on : may 8. in the e-mail they said i shud send send form 5476 if i want to represent my mom. not sure if i should send or not?
