Hi a31,
It has been one month since we got our Re-medicals done. So I know exactly how it feels like after years of wait. Just be patience and send them a case specific inquiry. I have once again applied for the NOTES. Dont want to be delayed like last time. I hope it helps.

I would say do both. Emails are handled in New Delhi and NOTES in Ottawa. Two different things. If you are lucky enough, you could get the answer to your email with-in a week. Else 30 days for both. Yeah, you are right. Cant quit at this stage.

Hi, I was wondering if someone went through the same thing with their sponsorship (for parents) like I am now.

I submitted my application in May of 2009
Received a response from the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga on March 2012 that they are now ready to process the sponsorship application
Submitted all requested documents before the 90 days grace period
(Parents and sibling) Requested to under go Medical Examination: May 2013
Payment of Right of Permanent Residency fee requested July 2013

Medical examinations are valid for 12 months so we have already gone beyond that and we still have not received any updates from the Canadian immigration. I'm just worried that our application may have fallen through the cracks so to speak. My family had submitted all the documents they had asked for like passport, NBI clearance and what not.

Will they need to go through another medical examination? I'm not really sure what to do. Does anyone have any advice or have gone through the same experience and still got the OK from immigration? Please help.

Thank you.

Regards,
Tony

U will surely get response this year. In history I heard of medical twice rarely but never thrice. So goodluck

email at ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca and let them inform you did not get any GMCS notes and its over 30 days.

My mom received an email from CHC Newdelhi asking to go for further medical exam as follows:

"This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa application for Canada.

The results of your initial medical examinations did not establish that you meet the medical admissibility criteria of Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA). Further medical information is required before a decision can be reached.

A recent report from a Cardiologist is required. Please forward a report addressing history, physical examination findings (including NYHA level and CCS functional class of angina if appropriate), state of target organs, functional capacity management needs and expected prognosis. The following investigations should be considered where clinically appropriate:
- Echocardiography (including ejection fraction)
- Resting ECG
- Exercise ECG test (if indicated)
- Cardiac stress test
- Nuclear stress test.

If your original Panel Physician is not available, please follow this link for information to assist in locating a Panel Physician in your area: http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/

You have 30 days from the date of this letter to comply with this request. Failure to do so will result in the closing of your Immigration medical file, and will result in the refusal of your visa application.

I dont know that do my mom has to go back to DMP for this specialists tests or she can go to any cardiologist for these tests to be done?

Thank you.

Thankyou. We got this request after 3 months. And also can you please clarify that you mentioned "PP", what does it mean? u mean your family doc or DMP? Please Clarify. And how complicated this stress test to book and how much it cost.

I know these are too many questions, I hope you understand.
