Any movement on 2010 applications since the document request? any medical requests?

I applied in 2011 and I have no clue when we are going to get document request. Seems like one person from 2010 has already got parents visa.

I do not think anything will happen in 18-24 months after file transfer to LVO. I am on the same boat, waiting for almost a year, no word otherthan waiting. Goodluck

Hi,

I filed my parents sponsorship (no dependent) in March, 2010. In August 2013, CIC asked for documents.

I provided documents and got letter in last week of October, 2013 that sponsorship has been approved and case has been transferred to Ottawa (not to Delhi).

However I have not heard anything back regarding medical. I checked few guys have got medical who applied in late 2009 or early 2010.

Can someone please advise ?

You are lucky. Ottawa office is very fast as compared to Delhi. You can order GCMS notes or check online what status is. But i am hoping that your parents will be here very soon.

just read ur post dont worry u will get medical papers soon as my inlaws case got transferred to Ottawa in end of May got medial request end of june almost after one month. Just be patient its going to be soon.

Thanks for your reply. Actually this is confusion as you mention that your in laws case got transfer in May and you got medical just after one month. In my case, it is more than 8 months and I have not hear anything back. There is no dependent in our case. I know few guys who have single parent, they got medical.

How long does CPP-Ottawa take to refer you to another country's embassy for stamping PR entry visa on the passport??

In my case, I got the Passport Request for our PR application but I am in the UAE ... we have emailed CPP-Ottawa to refer us to the UAE embassy but no reply till now.

It has been one month since we got our Re-medicals done. So I know exactly how it feels like after years of wait. Just be patience and send them a case specific inquiry. I have once again applied for the NOTES. Dont want to be delayed like last time. I hope it helps.
