it's 6 years 6 months passed in wait
2 years completed to processing in india but still they r not reached on decision on our case
8 months passed to expired 1st medical
from last 5 months no update from ND
this wait kill me
any update helping canadian, harjass nd pari4u??????? we all in same boat

Nothing dear it seems like the officer who is looking g after our case got bad wife so he is not working lol
Don pm inquiry nothing new in process no reason for dealy

I would say Order notes to get more details (OR) take chance like Amy and send the passports.

All you can do with the passports in your hand is Renew them if they are reaching their expiry dates while waiting for the request letter. Case specific enquiry is another thing you could look into i believe.

I hope you get the request soon.

so she has done similar to what my brotherinlaw is doing lol theydont have more option left to do more study with this long wait you are indeed the lucky one by any chance do you know which officer was looking at your file from gcms notes : :-\ ?

Minister Alexander will deliver a speech to members of the Confederation of Indian Industry Young Indians where he will focus on the important role of a strong and responsible immigration system in Canada's successful economic development as well as Canada's new Start-Up Visa for entrepreneurs.

In Mumbai, Minister Alexander will speak at the Digital Media Zone (DMZ) at the Bombay Stock Exchange Institute. DMZ is the first Canadian-led accelerator in India, and an incubator for start-ups that helps both Canadian and Indian entrepreneurs establish and expand their businesses in Indian and Canadian markets. Minister Alexander will also speak to young entrepreneurs' about Canada's Start-Up Visa and the Canadian Experience Class.

Applied for my parents on Nov 2009.
Accepted eligibility a few months ago (2014)
Request for their medical: May 2014
Medical done: June 2014 (Awaiting an update or confirmation on the receipt of the results - Told by the Dr. that everything is as close to optimal as they can be)

Case Processing Center (CPC) is doing their PR application.

Any ideas how long it will take? (The operator on the phone said that the 61 month on CIC website is the max and not a true reflection of the time for processing. She said it should be MUCH less as soon as they start it)

Atleast 7 months frm medical. Not specific time frame.better to order gcms or make inquiry fr current status..

Thanks you guys for the replies, I think I'll wait for what they'll say in the next few weeks, I'm sad though, this is a tough time for me. I just want to mentally prepare for what'll happen. It feels like you got on the boat for 5 year, now near to the land, it drowns. I think I just wait.
