Hello members Exactly 3 months completed since medical has expired no news from embassy any body has similar times frame
october medical exxpired and now its januaryy ,, inlaw has got remedical any body else still waititing

Well ours expired on OCT 16,2013 and now 3 months extension option is has also expired.
Got GCMS notes twice and MP enquiry once, not much helpful on the fact that why the file is not moving.

Hi Guys,

Great news here regarding my parents sponsorship case that I filed in 2009, Islamabad has sent the attached PHEP letter asking to submit passports with a note saying "your immigrant visa appears ready for issuance"
Is there a way we can send them the passports without my parents having to visit Pakistan (parents are in Canada on supervisa)? or can we ask someone going to Pakistan to take the passports and courier it to CHC Islamabad and then send it back to us when the visas are stamped?

Because they are saying in the letter "our office cannot send passports overseas, you must provide an address in Pakistan to where a courier company can deliver" also they are saying "Do not send passports through international courier if you are not currently in Pakistan"

Just go to MP office and tell him about your problem or any update you want on your case....
MP's assistant will send a mail to LVO and within week you will get reply...

good to hear the news, seems isb office has started working on our files.

Last week I sent the application to Mississauga office for my mother's sponsorship to Canada as permanent resident. In the application , Option C document was required for the last 3 years , but by mistake I sent for the last 2 years and forgot to put the 2010 one. Could you please suggest me if anything can be done now.

Also for year 2010 , my annual income was close to 15000$ because I was studying for the fist 8 months and I worked for only 4 months. The required Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) for this year is 476281 . Do you think this will be a issue . If yes then is it possible for me to send 2013 income proof which will be acceptable.

I would just get the income proof for 2013 and submit even though they have strictly asked for option-C or income tax return statement. Nothing to lose as you already know that 2010 income is not enough and you only sent for two year.

Hi Sandeep,

One of my friend have same issue as he didnt have enough income for the year 2010 and so he was not able to put up his parents file this year as he need to wait for one more year in order to meet the income criteria.

Unfortunately if that is your case then your application will be refuse and you will get an explanation letter about it from CPC-M.
You need to wait for one more year.

Folks I had a question regarding filling out the forms:

My parents received the medical request via email from CHC New Delhi. They have also asked us to fill out some of the forms-

IMM008 - Generic Application form for permanent residence

Now does this form need to be filled out by only my mother (the PRINCIPAL APPLICANT) or also by my father.

Also would my father be classified as a "principal applicant" or as a "dependent" to my mother for the purposes of this application. I am trying to understand this as the checklist is asking for educational documents for dependents over 22 years of age but I think this is more applicable to adult son/daughter as opposed to the spouse.

In my case my father was the principal applicant and mom, me and my brother dependants. So if your main sponsorship is for ur mom as principal applicant your father would be a dependant I guess.. The generic form is only filled for the principal applicant so in your case would be for your mother....
Also we had provided educational documents for mom as well.. Had to look all over the old trunks but managed to find a few. It was just a formality not that they need any authentic cetificates,however, the main ones were for me and my brother.

Common man u were telling that there was interview scheduled ????? so have u not got any letter for interview or the date of interivew....did ur gcms noted sayyys that interview is scheduled???

i have got the sponsorship approved letter on 24 jan 2013 but there is no response from new delhi till now
