No they said that there is no 10 weeks rule. My documents were rec'd by CIC on Oct 4th.

When I spoke to CIC, they told me that it can take up to 10 weeks for them to determine the sponsors eligibility. The received my requested docs on Sept 17. I still haven't heard anything from them.

Most of the cases it takes about 8-10 weeks, I got mine within 8 weeks approval from CPC-M. Layla.bee- you should receive it by mid or end of December.

I hope so. However, they told me that the officier has until April 2014 to make a decision. Quite slow process. Its already 48 months and no decision on file from within canada. I hope I get something around mid of Decemeber.

FCU-DIS: FCU is family class unit but DIS? Down below in the notes it says medical is passed only for my parents and CIC have not received medicals for me and my brother. 4 of us got the medicals done together in April 2013. I wonder why they have not received our medicals. For eligibility there is a detailed note starting with "Recommended for waiver".

UCI mean Unique Client ID number. Whoever applies for visa or have any PR process etc has a UCI #.

Till now we've never ordered GCMS notes, can any buddy explain me d difference in Initial Review/In-Process, & on which step(Status) they do start workin 4 (i) Security, (ii) & Background checks,

e-case updated 10days ago to "in-Process" not even got any mail/ request for anything,
