Hi Guys, Sorry for the late update. Passport received with visa on Saturday around 3 pm IST. Booked flights for Sunday and my wife is on her way to Canada. Right now somewhere over the atlantic :D. Very happy. You all are doing a great job. Good luck everyone!

Passport submitted to VFS Hyderabad on 20 Apr 2016 and received sms today 22 Apr 2016 that passport has been processed and dispatched via blue dart. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!!

Yes you can send it to Ottawa. Instructions will be in the PPR.

PPR received last night 1:55 am Central Time. Delighted!;)

Application status changed to DM yesterday :) No PPR today :(

I was asked for post wedding outing photographs for me and my wife alone. No relatives to be in the photos. I sent about 25. Let a photo studio do the printing for you and send through courier. Writing anything at the back is not generally needed, however, I would recommend a cover letter.

Indian time

My wife received a call at 8 am this morning from NDVO asking her to verify her passport information and was told she would receive an email request shortly to submit passport. Status still In-Process. No email received yet.

Remedical completed 28th March. However, the Dr has not sent the medicals to NDVO yet. Said they will do it today or tomorrow :(

March 6th applicant. Remedical request received today 65 days after ADR.

I received additional docs request on 13 Jan. Sent on 16 Jan and haven't heard anything since :(

Remedical generally indicates that the interview has been waived. However, there has been one or two cases where an interview happened after remedical. So be positive.

Renew it right now. They cannot stamp visa on your passport if it is not valid for at least 6 months.

You should expect to hear something after March 22. They generally review your file again then.

How much time did they give you to send the docs (Generally 45 or 60 days)? You will see DM anytime after that and PPR soon after.
