Do they still request for an updated PCC if the person was not in that country since the date the PCC was issued?aadi said:PCC is good for one year as well so if its expired then they can ask for that!!! not sure about the other forms.

Thank you for your reply. Could you please post the link to this thread.Thepas said:This is quoted from another thread.
For self-employed income has to be net income (after deducting expenses). The income you pay taxes on is to be considered. Salaried people pay taxes on Gross Income, so in their case it is groos income for sponsorship. Self-employed, you pay tax on $42K i.e. after deducting expenses and that is considered for sponsorship and not $48K

Who knows what process they have, I am sure they will take the fees and put these 5K in a pile somewhere
Bottom line is this country doesn't want parents, they prefer you get them on Supervisa and pay the insurance. Their culture and attitude towards parents is different from what we see in asia

I am not sure about that. u got a valid point here it doesn't make any sense to ask a PCC if the applicant was not in that country for the whole time but we should not forget that we are dealing with CIC & they are famous for surprises.Suin said:Do they still request for an updated PCC if the person was not in that country since the date the PCC was issued?
You will get Option C within 10 business days (that's what the CRA says when you are ordering them). They never expire (unless you have done any amendments to your tax returns). You can easily order Option C now to save some waiting time later.eric leon said:m from sept 2010 and didn't get any document required now. can I arrenge now option c printout from 2009 to 2012 in advance .or in how many days I will get them.
I'm almost positive they will sent another bunch of documents request 6 months later, that's the way it works according to their timeline.Applied 2010 said:Im from june 2010 and i didnt get any letter as well. Now updated on processing times Family Sponsorship:39 months*
(working on applications received on or before May 28, 2010*)

Acknowledgements of Receipt have been issued for all sponsorship applications received and accepted by CPC-M before the Temporary Pause on Family Class Sponsorship Applications for Parents and Grandparents came into effect.
So we didnt know the cic will send doc request this year or not.

Personal income from employment, business and self-employment
You must provide a detailed account of the income you earned in the 12 months preceding the date
of your application to sponsor if
• you cannot produce a notice of assessment or an equivalent document for the most recent
taxation year preceding the date of your application to sponsor, or
• if you can produce a notice of assessment, but the amount at line 150 is less than the minimum
necessary income (see definition above) and your financial circumstances have improved
since you received the notice of assessment.
It still sounds confusing...
It sounds like they should not look just on line 150 of the Option C for self-employed people... but who knows.
