You will get Option C within 10 business days (that's what the CRA says when you are ordering them). They never expire (unless you have done any amendments to your tax returns). You can easily order Option C now to save some waiting time later.

Some ppl will correct their option c by bring their income up by reporting extra income. May b think tht if u guys forget some misc income tht u forget to report.

Report it and send updated opt c to cpc b4 eligibility finalize.

U know wht i mean. Pm if u doubts

thank you for your input, very much. it's an option but it takes upto 6 months to have it done and at the same time it's not applicable in some cases as it can create even more trouble.

2 weeks that is 10 working days. I wish I can say Decision Made but I just sent my package last week. Wht about u?

I applied for my mother's sponsorship in Dec 2009. Now I received Generic Form request and few other documents. I am sure after this how long will it take to process the sponsorship application. Also on the cic website I see two things. One is sponsorship application and other is Permanent application form. I am not sure what will be next steps and how long more it will take to have to sponsorship done.
