Contacted the MP regarding my parent's file and got a reply today that the file is within the processing time in New Delhi and this is how the visa office there works. This is insane i told them to keep the passport for 8 months and do nothing.

hi vansh i know everything what happen with that guy from Islamabad But did u hear anything Same from New Delhi before for Dependants under 22 and rejected. Not a Single Cse from India.. Many Landed Guys also updated months ago that nothing to worry abt. they 'mayb' ask but wont reject or Remove from PR App.

Do the Same PAFSO(Officers) Stamp Visa In Islamabad??
Why they are Striking in New delhi ..... not in Isb/singapore?
Do they have different staff dere??

This is ridiculous, what are they going to do about medical expiry? Why do they put expiry dates on our files then?
Are files getting processed normally within one year of passport request or one year of file transfer to ND?

NDVO works like "Gives us passport", then "keep guessing". This is supposed to be a First World Canadian Embassy but their work ethics are worst than Indian Standards

True. I am very surprised with the Mp's office where i went who were shocked when i told them that passports are been held for over 7 months at ND location. Which world are they living in?

Do you think they are actually working on PR cases? I dont think so. We 2008 applicants least expected the strike

my story is also same our passport holding for 8 months and do nothing and application year 2009 cases are in pilot project through ottawa getting visas............

Hi there,
have a quick question, -I'm moving from Quebec to Alberta and I have sent already in 2011 a sponsorship demand for my mother. On the cic.gc.ca web it's marked that in case of moving outside Quebec, I would need to fill out a new •Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking [IMM 1344]. Is it all I need to do (including the online change of address)? I noticed when I was preparing my sponsorship application that there are more forms to fill out if you're not living in QC. Can you please help me with this particular issue? Many thanks in advance!
