Hi all,

My parents will be coming soon to Canada on Supervisa. Both my mom and dad are on insulin and take different medicines also. How many months of supply are they allowed to bring with them. Can they both bring Insulins for their use for 3 months?

After that, what will happen? will I have to purchase it from here after getting prescription from local Canadian doctor?

Thanks,

Yes, they can bring a three month supply. Yes, after that they can get a prescription from a doctor here and then fill it locally.

How was your experience with the medical exam for Supervisa? How did it go? Assuming your parents were taking insulin at the time of medical exam, did you disclose it during the medical exam?

hello @scylla and @canuck78

Regarding prescription medications, does the holder of a supervisa need to bring the original prescription document from their doctor, or is verbally explaining it sufficient?
