IRCC received 200,000 entries in 2020
Department spokesperson Isabelle Dubois says IRCC is catching up on a list of 200,000 potential sponsors who expressed interest in 2020. Approximately 132,000 people remain in the pool.


For 2023, 24000 were selected. So, 132000-24000=108000 left in the pool.

You need to do some simple math calculation. There are 108000 left, and this year 37500 will be selected. So next year there will be 108000-35700=72300. If ircc still invite 35700, then the possibility is 35700/72300=49％

Usually I saw them start by 10/11 AM EST and wrap up by 1 PM PST.

But who knows this time!

how do you know they plan to draw from the current pool next year? They could just say we are opening a new round of applications, next year is federal election.
