That's great news... Congratulations.. Sorry I did not read your previous post... you mentioned that your son got PCC and now you got Biometric request. Great!
If you don't mind sharing what is your time line and the PCC and Biometric - was it through email or post?
Thru e.mail last night.

Hi All, I got a letter(attached below) from cic. I sponsored my mother and already submitted my birth certificate as proof of relationship. Not sure why they are asking more documents.

I have following questions regarding the request.

For the first set of documents which they asked( voter ID card, Aadhaar card and old school records)

1. My aadhaar card, election card, secondary certificate does not have my mother name on it. Should I still send them and send one letter explaining that these documents doesn’t have provision of displaying my mother name in it?

2. My voter id has my name little bit incorrect as it is having my father first name as my middle name but I do not use any middle name and no other document of mine has any middle name on it. Should I still send it as they asked all 3 of the documents including voter card or will it add confusion for my name?

For the Second set of documents which they asked( principal applicant's Ration card, your Indian passports(expired and current) and/or OCI, and PAN/Income Tax card.)

1. I have ration card in my name and not in my mother name. But my mother name is mentioned as my mother on my ration card. Will that work?
2. I have my old cancelled India passport and my mother name is there. Will that work?
3. I do not have OCI card but I do have pan card but again my pan card is not having my mother name on it. Should I send explanation letter for pan card stating that pan card does not carry mother name on it.

Question for sending documents again by email or not.

I have already send email with pan card, my old Indian passport, secondary school certificate. Out of these only my indian passport has my mother name on it. Now I am planning to send all the documents which they mentioned including ration card and voter id as wellwith explanation letters. Should I send these again by email or will it cause more confusion with 2 emails?

Question for how to send documents

They have email mentioned email but when I sent email it give me automatic reply back and does not confirm anything but has link for web form to send the documents. The web form does not work for me as my application number is temporary starting with sf. I do not have any way to confirm if they got my documents o
