I haven't heard back anything yet and IRCC agent told me everything looks completed but need to wait for email.

Any communications related to principal applicant are sent to the portal. For sponsors- they email to the email account provided.

In my case, eligibility approval letter was sent to my email address. There’s no mention of it on the portal.

Hello everyone,

I submitted my application on Dec 1, 2023. I received the Medical exam request and pre-arrival 2 weeks ago. My mom resides in Canada with me.

This afternoon, July 18, I received an email to request for: picture of passport and police certificate, but the deadline is July 23, 2024, only 5 days including weekend. Does anyone has the same situation? It's not possible to obtain police certificate in 5 days and get notarized outside Canada.

Did you submit your PCC through the email provided or through your GCKEY account? I provided PCC through email and GCKEY account on July 18th and haven't gotten a reply since.

Out of the curiosity, are they sending an invite now to even create a portal? Asking as I applied for my in laws this year. My parents are almost at the end of the process.

In that case, all communication will go to the email provided and any requested documentation will have to be emailed to them instead of uploading them to IRCC portal.

got it - thank you. I am baffled that I can't figure out the GCkey linking. I have tried so many times.
