she just want to sponsor only mom. not both parent and back in 2019 my sister in law sponsor only her mom not father. And now her mom is here on PR. she need include explanation letter with the application.

Right, but did the father have to do the medical? The person’s father doesn’t have to come, but has to do the medical.
when the father got medical my sister in law send explanatin letter to CIC so he didn't go through medical. still I am not legal adviser I am saying what I saw in people situation.

they said 2 weeks.. but i think we can still keep hope for a few more days.. probably until web or Thursday..Applied for my mother in law in 2020. Still no luck in the last few days

I got last year the day before the last day. so hang in there.
Keep that application. It will take roughly 2 - 3 years (unless you are really lucky and we did see some 1 year cases) for him to get approval for the application. invitation is just the begining.
