I got initiation to sponsor my mother but the invite pdf mentions my spouse name. Not sure if that is ok. He will be my co-sponsor.

Right, but did the father have to do the medical? The person’s father doesn’t have to come, but has to do the medical.

when the father got medical my sister in law send explanatin letter to CIC so he didn't go through medical. still I am not legal adviser I am saying what I saw in people situation.

We’ve started inviting potential sponsors for the 2022 process
For the 2022 process, we’ll invite potential sponsors from the remaining pool of interest to sponsor forms submitted in 2020. We’ll send 23,100 invitations to apply to reach our goal of accepting up to 15,000 complete applications.

On October 12, 2022, we started inviting potential sponsors to apply. We’ll send invitations over the course of the next 2 weeks.

If you’re invited to apply, we must get your online application by the deadline shown on your invitation to apply letter.

However, they mentioned 2 weeks about 2 days ago right? So yeah thinking maybe by next Friday? And they dont invite over weekends right?

I got an invitation yesterday E1E.
I also applied for a visa extension last month for my dad. Should I retrieve the visa extension application? Now that we received PR invitation.

Keep that application. It will take roughly 2 - 3 years (unless you are really lucky and we did see some 1 year cases) for him to get approval for the application. invitation is just the begining.

Any one got the invitation who applied on October 13,2020? every one around us got the invitation, but not us!! wondering if any thing wring with October 13!!

I noticed in your signatures, you were asked to submit both IMM 1283 and IMM 5768, however in 2022 checklist form IMM 1283 is not required. Was it mentioned in 2021 checklist?
