Hello Folks - I am in a bit of tussle here. Hoping someone can read and help.
I have submitted my documents on June 10th for my Dad and Mom (Dad being primary) and still waiting for an acknowledgment.
Saddened to state that my dad passed away in India on July 11 (Updated CIC) on the same. Mom is physically dependent and now travelling to Toronto on September 27th on visitor with me.

My question is - if and when i get biometric and medical request, can i get that done in Toronto ? Someone had a similar case and they had to fly back to their homeland to get biometrics.
Or, to be safe can i get biometric done in advance in India and submit that when asked ?

Thanks,
Mohit

Sorry to hear about your dad.

Your mom can do biometrics in USA if she has a USA visa.
If not, I would say apply for her USA visa as soon as she comes here.
Also, update her address on the same day when she lands here, may be (less chance though) they will exempt her from biometrics.
There is no way to do bio upfront.

Ecase shows application is in process since July 22 but nothing happens afterwards

Also, I’m a little concerning as I aware a good portion of May 8th application are DM already, should I worried about that?

Thanks!

Anyone whose LVO is CPC-Mississauga got any PCC request lately? :(

CPC-Mississauga is not sending any PCC in recent months (two users got it at the very early days). There might be several reasons:

1. They are backlogged
2. They "deemed" it's not necessary as the "PA" is "deemed" in Canada
3. They might still send the file to another LVO and that office will ask for the PCC

Good morning!

Question - I am not a representative of my mom, but I linked her application to my (SA) myCIC. If there are request for Medical or Bio, would it show up on SA myCIC or would they email my mom about it?

Or is it advisable to link her application to her own (PA) myCIC account so all correspondence will be sent here?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am on the same boat. Waiting for PCC from Mississauga office. Seems like the last PCC request from this VO was on July 3.

Thanks for the feedback @bdidol.

Hi ...please create account separately for her. So that there is no confusion for sponsor and applicants account.
That is my suggestion.
