question - I (as my father) have middle name but my mother do not have middle name in her passport. But on my birth certificate, there is middle name for my mother. But her passport has first name and last name. Should I get my birth certificate attested (notary) by local lawyer here in Canada?
I don't think so. Usually, Canadian/US naming system doesn't really care about Middle name. As long as first and last name are same across the documents, you should be fine. If you want a confirmation, please use Twitter to reach IRCC.

I am reposting this question... please provide your input if there are any

Hello Folks, In Generic application form for applicant, (question 2- have you used any other name alias.).. is it ok to fill the entries using multiple prints...Example my mothers maiden name and married name

although the names are same they have a letter missing in one as compared to another, thus it is coming to
Maiden name -
Spelling 1
Spelling 2

Married Name
Spelling 2 - as spelling one is already part of the main form.

Can I just fill the section and attach as 2 prints to the same form.
No. You need to write a letter of explanation about it. Don't attach two copies of the same form with different data.

Stay can perhaps be extended max up to 2 years in total..
As I have said she can try but there is no Guarantee for the extension. It depends on what IRCC Officer decide on the time of decision.
The stay has been already one year for her. So there is only one year max she can stay more "If she will get the extension".

Hello everyone,
How do you check the status of the application? It was delivered on June 6th (with signature confirmation). The parents do not have UCI number.
Thank you for your replies.

I just noticed that in my interest confirmation email. All the information is accurate but the last character of my last name is U instead of I - May be it was a typo as both U and I are adjascent.

Do i need to write a letter of explaination ?

Yes, You should add an explanation letter to avoid any confusion and provide detail.

Hi Guys

I just noticed in the spreadsheet, there are people (most of them) who have not received yet AOR, but they can see : Application received on ecas, how they are able to see on ecas without aplication number and AOR?

Thanks
