They won't process more than 20k apps this year - I dont think.

If u weren't invited, the best u can do is wait until they publish something. Anything anybody says at this point is speculation. Though they were very clear than theybwont do any more than 20k apps this year.

Personally, I believe they will do another round of invitations, thanks to the dumb dumbs that are not eligible and still applied but again, best thing to do it wait until CIC announces any news

My Dear fellow Sponsor friends!!
I got chance to talk with IRCC agent, She didnot able to locate my file as per my UCI but with Receipt number confirmed that my application has been received on May 2nd ( confusion as Canada Post e signature says delivered on May 3rd)
When I asked about my situation of missing to write names in Native language, she said it's just name but she said if you want peace of mind you can always submit updated form using your UCI . Temporary file number will change .
Those whose ECAS status has been updated, those are the luckiest one whose application seems complete and in process. She said it's just perspective.

Hi, can you please share me the IRCC number and which options you chose? When I tired calling them, their system didn't have an option to choose parents and grandparents.

I am sponsoring my parents and no co-sponsor. Can some one confirm if the below order is correct?

- ITA (Email sent by CIC)
- Letter of explanation
- Document Checklist
- All forms in the order mentioned in the checklist. In my case the below are applicable:
- IMM 1344 with bar code on top of this form
- IMM 5768
- IMM 0008 with bar code on top of this form
- IMM 5669 for principal applicant
- IMM 5669 for dependent
- IMM 5406 for principal applicant
- IMM 5406 for dependent
- IMM 5476 (one form for both)
- Fee receipt
- Supporting documents
- Photos

Hello Experts/Friends,

In Schedule A-Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) does not allow me to validate the form until signature is electronically singed but in the checklist it clearly states that the signature should be hand written of principal applicant.

Seeking advise from the guys , whose application Parents/Grandparents application has been accepted and got the file number.

I have tried the below and the form no longer needs the name to be typed in Signature. I am not saying you have to do this. But wanted to let you know what I have observed.
1. Type your name, validate the form
2. Remove your name and the validate the form again. This time it will not ask for Signature.

Experts here will chime in but personally I don't think they would return the application. You can check with CIC agent.

To be honest, I personally don't think they will return application just because of placing documents in wrong order. Unless ofcourse they think you didn't send that document at all

Jokes aside, I feel to weed out all such nonsense, CIC should make people pay fees upfront and also input SIN to check eligibility (right upfront) while expressing interest. In any case they have access to CRA. Significant burden from Case officers will be eliminated, resulting in speedier application processing. Essentially the "eligibility to sponsor" step will be processed while expressing interest in one go. If they are also able to tie-in the CIC passport / PR Card / COPR / Birth database, Sponsor identity verification can also be completed at the same time. Straight away you will get an Application / file number and the application can be then made to the Local VISA office -which is what happens anyways internally.
