Hey'all!

I have finally received an e-mail from CIC - ten min ago:

"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative will be forwarded to Mexico for further processing. This office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."

I am Brazilian, living in Canada - mom lives here with me. I know it doesn't matter but.. why the heck would they send my file to Mexico?! I haven't read this forum in a while so maybe something happened and I am unaware.. anyone with thoughts?
Lol maybe cause Brazil football team has beaten Mexico football team for many years just kidding

@robertp @YULIA-2016
Please update line 430

Biometric fee request received on Sept 20 at 5:10 pm

I thought my mom and siblings didn't need biometrics as their biometrics were valid until 2027 as per CIC's website tool.
The letter I received is from CPC Mississauga and says "This letter refers to your application for permanent residence". Is it normal to receive this request before receiving AOR? Does this mean my mom's PR application will be processed by the Mississauga office? I should pay the biometric fee for my mom and dependents as well, correct? The dependents are not mentioned on the letter, so I wasn't sure...

Thank you!
You said you were able to link the app in myCIC?

I am on my phone trying to put baby to sleep. Once she is down I will login on my computer as all my passwords are saved there :)

Will update y'all soon - I hope

I feel we all got the same VO who thinks there is plenty of time to get the process complete and does at his own pace. No logical explanation otherwise LOL. anyways keep hoping for it to come soon.

Who ever it is is playing with emotions here. It means the world to uso_O

NOC Code......
NA
App. Filed.......
eAPR/AOR 13-08-2018
I swear our applications are just sitting in someones drawer at CIC there is no explanation for this delay but they will find them eventually lol
I also believe that few files are stuck with a particular official who may be on extended leave or forgot about these files. My file came out as I had submitted contact details change request which had to be filed and updated. On bio and IME, my parents address shown is mine.

Yes, I linked the PR application on Sept 18th, the same day I got ECAS access.
We have to see if you get the AoR in the next batch..would be interesting to see...your document is complete, I guess that's why they active the ecas. Few in the tracker got delayed at the beginning because of the missing bio fees

If the request comes from CPC Mississauga, does that mean my mom's PR application will be processed there?

I got another letter today that says I meet requirement to be eligible to sponsor my parents. My lawyer just sent it to me.

"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative will be processed at CPC-Mississauga. This office was selected based on
your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."

Strange though since my parents home address is Singapore but the processing office is CPC Mississauga?

What is this letter called?
