LVO - New Delhi is too slow. Anyone else seeing any progress? I got the CSQ's for my parents and they have been forwarded to LVO a month ago. Ecas status shows in Process and no updates in cic account.

Line # for updates please

Hi,

My parents sent their passports 10 days ago through our VAC (Visa application Center in Venezuela). To date we have no updates. Is there a change in status on ecas? We still show the same as when we got PPR:

"We sent XXXXX correspondence on May 27, 2019. If XXXXX has not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please have XXXXX do so as soon as possible. Please wait until XXXXX receives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

I got a request for my parents to have their fingerprints done for an RCMP check. However, with them sending the fingerprints here and then doing the check - we shall not make the deadline. What is the best way to get an extension on the deadline?

There are document holders in MyCIC with due dates. Would email be faster? or the web portal?

Anyone had a similar experience? This is with the London Visa Office.

Thank you

Hello,

It appears the forms have been updated.

Here in the guide it states to use IMM 5669.

In the form finder, there is also confusion

Please advise which form to use. Additionally, the forms won't open.

Thank you

Congratulations. Is your BC check in progress or ? if yes, that;s good then it should be soon, may be 1-2 months, as delhi is VO. If not, it needs to be started to have the PPR,
No BG Check. It says BG check not applicable.

Where are your parents? Fingerprints have to done physically at RCMP locations

I don't think so.

"The fingerprints must be submitted to the RCMP electronically. Please note it is not currently possible to submit fingerprints electronically from outside of Canada. Therefore, you must contact an accredited company within Canada who will digitize ink fingerprints and submit them electronically to the RCMP. Please refer to http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/criminal-record-and-vulnerable-sector-checks for full instructions as well as a list of accredited companies.

Once a full set of fingerprints has been obtained, please contact the accredited company or refer to their website for instructions on submitting your fingerprints for processing. Please send a copy of this letter along with your fingerprints.
Please note, it will not be possible to finalise your application without these fingerprints. Once completed, the results will be returned to you by regular mail. In turn, please mail them to us within 30 days. Please also return a copy of this correspondence with your items/documentation.
Sincerely,
Immigration Section
