Hi Senior members,

Can you please clarify some doubts that I have:

1). Can we use color or black and white photocopies, some documents in colored and other b&w?

2). For the stamps on the parents photos, photo studio hand wrote the date but used stamp for name and address, due to ink, it misses little bit of city name, can we hand write that?

after 2 months since the file was transferred to LVO Singapore, now the status has changed at 'In Process'. No Change at GC Key. No request of Medical or Police Certificate Yet. Lets see how long do they need to ask for Medical/PCC

Permanent Residence
  1. We received XXXX's application for permanent residence on August 7, 2018.
  2. We sent XXcorrespondence acknowledging receipt of Sabiha Sultana's application(s) on March 12, 2019.
  3. We started processing XX's application on May 2, 2019.

I want to know that the website of cic says that u hv to mantain minimum necessary income while the processing of the application
How does cic know if income of the year (2019) doesn’t meet eligibility even though 2016,2017 and 2018 meet requirement
And should cosigner sign if he/she donor meet income requirement for 2019 but do so for 2016,2017 and 2018
Pls suggest!

@YULIA-2016 ,

Can you please update SS?

My mom just landed today, so officially everything is done.

Line# 203
Username: jhoongo

PPR request: April 12
Passport Sent on April 15, and received by CPC Ottawa on April 17 (she is currently in Canada, and is from Visa Exempt Country, so we just sent photocopies)
We waited for 2 weeks until May 1, there was no update on MyCIC, so I called them on May 2.
The representative told me that she would leave the message to the officer on that day and told me that it might take up to additional one month to receive COPR.
MyCIC account status was changed to Approved on May 3 in the morning, and return tracking code was activated later that day.
Received the COPR on May 4, and landed on the same day through flagpoling in the border.

Thanks everyone, and especially @YULIA-2016 for sharing/organizing the information, and helping all of us.

Wish all of you guys the best of luck on the rest of your process!

Thanks,

Still haven’t received the SA. Apparently you get to know once the sponsor is approved

I don' think you need Color photo copies. Send all in black and white. Whatever is in color send in color

For photos, do whatever you think need to make clear as long as you not touching the front. Of course don't make mess. I think CIC would ask you more photos in case they think it is not appropriate.

Did you tried to check status in Ecas? Did you check Junk email folders just in case.

Also check the Spread sheet close the date as yours for AOR, that had go SA approved. Then you would have an idea how much time it would take.

Also tried the following

1. Call CIC call center
2. Order GCMS notes to find out
3. Send request for status via web forms if you think it taking longer
