I don't think you need to wait or send some enquiry.

Just ask your parents to submit their passport to nearby VFS center in delhi along with letter/email you received and they will take care of it

Sorry, I missed some information, I updated the original post. The instruction from Ottawa is as follows,

  • If you do not have a mailing address in Canada or the U.S.A, or if you are unable to submit the required documentation for you or your accompanying family members to the addresses below, please advise IRCC via the IRCC Web form for instructions to submit your documents to the visa office that serves the country where you are.
So I need to submit webform to change NDVO but I just need a sample if some one has submitted it.

Thanks

I sent an email to London visa office 2 weeks back, and waiting for their response.
Application received date is April 27, 2018, so 9 months have already passed.
Auto reply says they will reply within 28 days.

Got reply from London VO on email inquiry I sent a month back.
It says, "Application awaits an initial review in London, once this review has taken place, we will be in contact".
It seems Application is in a long que and waiting for an officer to pick up the file.
Anyone else got any response from London VO ?

In my PPR email, CIC listed 5 Visa Offices in Asia for us to submit passports before the part you quoted above. Are you sure Canada or USA is the only option CIC gave you?

Exactly the same response. Seems like an auto reply.

Hi,

We have received AOR on Dec 21st (stating application accepted under PGP intake cap 2018) with some general verbiage related to "Use of Representative". Since then, there is no update.

Anyone in similar situation??

TIA.

hi
i started my in-laws 2019 application, iam not able to any adobe links to access my application can anybody help me on this

I received invitation to apply for parents Sponsorship 2019.
I am sponsoring my mother.
How do you prove relationship if your birth certificate does not mention mother's name. In old times in my country (India) there used to be no formal birth certificate and education certificate was accepted as birth certificate, However the education certificate only has father's name.
Does your passport have your mother's name? It was a problem in my country too, but recently the government is putting both parents' names, so anyone with an old birth certificate can apply for a new one and get both names. Please check if you can do that in India also. If that does not work, you may have to create a declaration and notarize it or get a court certified document showing her name.

Hi folks,

Could you please advise, (those who succesfully received an approval for your parents sponsorship) - did you guyes submitted just a translation and a copy of your BIRTH CERTIFICATE certified in Canada, or you had to get a translation of the LEGALIZED BIRTH CERTIFICATE at the embassy of the originating country?

The guide says CERTIFIED copy, so having an original here with me, can I just go to notary / commissioner for oath and have the translation of the birth certificate with its certified copy?

But how does a notary know the birh certificate is a genuine document?

PS I was born in USSR.

Thanks

It's a very disappointing response from London I'd say.

If the initial review is not even started after almost a year, the whole process may take another year or so.
Here is what the AOR I received from London VO states about the overall process:

"Your application will first go through a pre-assessment done by Case Analysts. Case Analysts do not make decisions. They will go over the facts of your application and deepen the understanding of your circumstances before your file is assigned to an officer for processing. You may receive a request for additional evidence.

Once your application is assigned to an officer, the first step will be for the officer to review whether you meet the requirements for the Family Class category you applied under. This is called: Eligibility.

Once eligibility is completed, the officer will review your admissibility to Canada. Providing there are no concerns, the decision on your admissibility may closely follow the decision on your eligibility. However, complex medical conditions, criminal records or security concerns can significantly extend the processing time of your application. Certain reviews or verifications are conducted by partner agencies and these verifications will most likely extend the processing time of your application.

Once these reviews are completed, your application should be ready for final decision."
