Finally Recieved PPR in an email today. I got an standard email from Ottawa to send the passport within 30 days. However, my parents are in india; can they just submit the passports to New delhi? or we have to notify CIC first?

here is what it says:
STEP 4: SUBMIT THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

· If you do not have a mailing address in Canada or the U.S.A, or if you are unable to submit the required documentation for you or your accompanying family members to the addresses below, please advise IRCCvia the IRCC Web form for instructions to submit your documents to the visa office that serves the country where you are.

Your timeline is similar as mine, file was recvd at NDVO on Dec 12 from Ottawa. Received additional doc request on April 01, travel info, military service records and FBI certificates. All submitted on April 10th. Have ordered GCMS notes again to see what shows up- previous notes state that Medical to be completed by June 7th , so hoping for medical request by Mid of May.
Thank You for your reply. How do they contact you, via email or mail? I haven't had any correspondence after December when they told me my file is being transferred to New Delhi.

Hi,
I was asked for medicals, PCC and Travel history which I provided. My father had to go for further medical tests and result will come by 8 weeks. My status still shows"your action is required". Is it common to show like this?

I have the same question if my PPR comes shortly. and how to I notify them the change of mailing address from Canada back to the own country??

hello, for those who completed medical in canada, how long did it take before your results reflected on ecas or my Cic account? My dmp says results were uploaded 2 weeks back but nothing yet when I check online.
And for any of you who received furtherance, was that communication through Cic account or via email? Just wondering if I missed any communication or action from my end.

Congratulations.. I have exact same timeline. I got my pre-arrival letter on April 18.
When they asked PCC and when you submit it.
What's your current ecas status

If you have provided them with an email address and linked the application to GCKey account then you will get it via email- This should be preferred by yourself as it is the quickest way to get the correspondences.

Hello @sam1986

Congratulations. Did your background check changed to in progress that we are looking into it or it aways remains the same that we will update you once we start your background check. It is more then a month that they have my PCC received, medicals received last week and updated, however my GCkey still says, we will send you messege once we start looking your BC .

In the PPR email, CIC gave 3 address that I can send passports to: Beijing, Hong Kong and Ottawa. They ask to send a pre-paid registered envelope in the package so they can send the passports back. I don't see a need to change mail address.
