Que. My father is principal applicant and mother is dependent in it Generic 008 Form and father is only filling the Gen 008 form. Rest other forms 5669 and 5406 both are filling their own. As mother need to sign any representative form to let my father be a principal applicant as she shown herself as dependent? they both above 60 yrs age

Hi All,

My father used to work in UAE and now he went back to home country and he had no plans to going back to UAE... will it work? if he can provide an explanation letter to CIC that he can't get the pcc from there? and even I heard it takes forever to get this from there.

Any suggestion regrading this? or anyone has encountered this situation

Thanks in advance

Question to the spring applicants re travel form for parents IMM 5562.

Do parents have to report travels within their country of residence?

The insrtuctions in the guide are pretty clear: list all travels outside your country of origin or residence during 10 recent years. So I'm reading it as : if your parents were born and live let's say in France, list all trips outside of France. If they were born in France but during recent 10 years live in let's say Japan, list all trips outside of Japan.

However, the letter from IRCC requesting the form states "provide completed IMM 5562 including your current country of residence" . Do they want travels within the country of residence to be listed as well in this form?

Am I overthinking?

Hi, I am planning to apply PR for my parents,I became PR in 2014 december and my husband is Canadian citizen. I did not work here till now and only my husband do and he meets the LICO for sponsoring my parents.
I have a question whether I can sponser my parents with my husband as co signer.
Please do reply me. Thank you

Yes he can be a co-signer :)

As long as your combine income meets the LICO - it's all good
