Why everybody is asking about Resume? do we need to put into it? There is nothing in the checklist though for India

Hey Guys,

I have received letter from CIC advising that my Mom's application has been selected . They have also changed the rules regarding biometrics. Do you know if my Mom can do fingerprints here in Canada or does it have to be in her home country ?

Thank you in advance

for Biometric should I have to pay fee alongwith Sponsorship fee in Canada or it should be paid at VAC at the time of Biometric. If paid here will need to provide to Receipt to parent to bring it with them for Biomertic test at VAC for their acceptance. what is the best practice.

She can do biometrics at any VAC (Visa Application Center) around the world included Canada.
Thank you so much for respond. I was unable to find Canada among the list. There were some info regarding VAC center in Canada that it will be open only in 2019. (from cic website )
In Canada
  • If you are applying for a visa, study or work permit or permanent residence in Canada – you are exempt until the in-Canada service is established in 2019.
Is that mean she doesn't need to do Bio metrics. My Mom is in Canada on Visitor Visa right now. I'm so confused.

Hi,
I just received an email with the instructions for medical test and police clearance also resubmit imm 5562 and resume for my parents. In the medical form, the sponsor’s Canada address is given even though the parents’ live in India. It has to be submitted by Sep 2. Need I call IRCC and change the address ? Will the Canadian address be a problem when they go to see the doctor in India?
Thanks a lot.
Chandra
That won't be a problem!

Thanks so much. Thought we have to send them bank statements showing funds in account.
I called my parents in India and told them will need the following items from them:
1. Photos
2. Marriage Certificate
3. They will need to sign the forms I send them
Anything else I will need from their side?

Please do not ask the same question again, this information was provided to you already, also before posting the question please check the IRCC checklist mentioned in Guide 5772.
