If you are a Canadian citizen, your UCI number should be on the back of your Citizenship Certificate.

If you are a PR, the UCI number should be on your PR card. It is mentioned as ID No/ on the PR card.

This UCI number is in two formats:

• four numbers, a hyphen and four more numbers (Example: 0000-0000) or
• two numbers, a hyphen, four numbers, a hyphen and four more numbers (Example: 00-0000-0000)

Thanks a lot for the reply. I used the UCI number, seems like still the application is not activated or linked to my UCI. I should wait more.

My application was received May 18, 2018. Still no AOR and can't check online.
I called the call center just now, the agent said they received my application but is still working on creating my file.

Hi guys, question here, i sponsor my parents for PR, I didn't use any representative but myself, I didn't provide that form as well. Just wondering for any email from CPC will send to my email or parent? Just in case I will miss any medical request or additional info request.

Emails will be sent to the address provided on the application. It could be your parent's or yours. If you haven't submitted the 'use of representative' form, I'd send it now. It'll greatly help you while obtaining status updates in future.

In my opinion, a lot people will not be able to prove their eligibility. Based on what happened last year, I wouldn't be surprised if half the invitees (7500) are unable to prove their eligibility.

I wish there will be a 2nd draw. (good for us, who lost the lottery)
but I think there is really less chance for it to happen,
as you know they had announced 15000 winners, where as the quota was 10K.
so they have 5000 extra already.
7500 will not be able to proof their eligibility is a wild guess !

Also I hope good things for others,
For people winning a lottery, sharing good news with Parents and then discovering that they are not eligible at first place is a really big shock.......

so everyone has to get police certificate, doesnt matter if you are 79 years old
how long is it valid for . .a my father will be travelling next month, I might ask him to get one before he leaves

for 79 for sure its valid 6mon but usually they dont ask a new one

The only unclear point is the number of people on the application. It should be the same as on application minus any dependent children. Don't ask why.
