Which UCI ? can you please explain more it will be helpful for everyone who is trying to search for their application status

Thanks

The sponsor can use his or her UCI to check the status of application of parents sponsorship.

Where did you foind the UCI
It is on the sponsor's PR card. The ID # is same as UCI #.

ID # is xxxx-xxxx. When looking up in the ECAS just fill xxxxxxxx

both my, sponsor's UCI, and the main applicant's UCI can be used.
if you use sponsor's UCI, you will see 2 column, one is sponsorship progress ,the other is PR processing progress,
if you use applicant's UCI, for me is my mother's. you can only see the PR processing progress

oh i think i understand the confusion here
my parents applied normal visitor visa before. and there are UCI on the visa, that UCI is usable to search.
if you cannot find that or do not have that. you can always use your own UCI, sponsor's UCI, to check status.

Experts, I have two questions regarding Parents Sponsorship. If you could please reply.

1- My parents have already Super Visa and I applied for PR too. They are planning to Visit Canada and will stay here for a while. Meanwhile if the local office of my home country asked for their passports for PR Visa, what options will I have ?
2- In Parents Sponsorship, after approval, do they need to appear for Interview in local office ? Or most they are deciding on papers and later ask for passports for stamping ?

Thank you

Dear All,
I am still waiting for my query. Please reply if anyone has this info. Thanks

Once your parents receive a passport submission request, they can definitely submit the passport in IRCC's office in Canada. I know a sponsor who had the similar case. As soon as you get a communication from IRCC to submit the passport, phone IRCC call centre and confirm the address in Canada.

I am not sure about the interview though, however, I feel that interview could be done in one of the IRCC offices in Canada.

I have an unrelated question....
Is "Query" generally being used as for causal question in UK? Or other parts of the world.

I have never seen this word being used for requesting ideas/suggestions before until I started reading from here.

To me... query means.. something submit to the database or a formal inquiry for an official answer which we don't provide here.
I am not trying to be rude. I am just curious.

I can't even imagine your frustration and stress, but I am glad that IRCC got back to you for the re-medical. Wishing you good luck for the remaining process.
Could you please provide the name of hospital?
SPS hospital Ludhiana
Can you imagine they made my 70 years old mother run on treadmill followed by an angiography . My Mother already had a bypass surgery.
I tried to reach the (so called) doctor many times to better understand the situation. Interesting, he had his whatsapp pic with his Mom. That a&&#0!e never picked my call but hinted through staff that I will have to get the stint surgery done. of course, for me, my mother's life is bigger than visa. I was depressed and could see a lot of depression on her face.
Later on another friend of mine told me that she faced the same problem.
If you tell the hospital about your frustration and tell them about taking legal action against them. They make your fun.
I cannot imagine how advanced authorities in India has gone.

I sponsored my parents in 2007 and they landed in 2013. They both are over 65. Can they apply for old age pension plan or any financial social assistance? They don't have any income here.
