I got an acceptance email too! Was totally unexpected as last year I think they did it around end of April. I just checked the processing time and it says they are working on applications from January 2014? It seriously can't be taking over 4 years to process surely???

I got an acceptance email this morning at around noon PST. Does anyone have 2017 PGP processing time spreadsheet? And does anyone have plan to create one for 2018?

Wait for it. I didn't get one either yet. It says they'll be sending out emails over the next few days.

My wife got the acceptance email as well. Yes, it is taking 4 years for them to process. But I think my friend received his father's PR right now and he applied in 2016. So, I don't know which one is correct.

They are clearing the backlog while working on more current applications. It sounds like planning for 1-2 years is probably a safe bet as long as there isn't a problem or complicated background check.

I need to know if the minimum income requirement is your Total income on the assessment or the Net income? Shown below

150 Total income?
236 Net income?

Keeping my fingers cross, my wife got the email for her parents but i didn't get it for mine. As we applied on same day.

May not feel this way but you should consider yourself lucky. Many people will not qualify for parents. in-laws or both. Important to maintain perspective.

I'm so sick and frustrated with this process. We were just about ready to apply for my mom in 2011 and they locked the program for two years. Sent applications in 2014 when it reopened, then 2015 and 2016 as well - didn't get in time even though we paid Xpresspost everytime. Tried with the lottery system.

It's so hard telling my mom that we didn't get in, again. I'm losing hope.
