Hi Friends,

I see there is an option to select your own parents or your spouse parents. So, we have to submit two interests separately to sponsor both my parents and my spouse parents?

If this is the case, then I can submit two interests and my wife also can submit two interests(one for her parents and another one for my parents) I will be co-signer as she doesn't work.

So, we have 4 interests(spots) to check our luck. Is my understanding correct?

Thanks for quick reply. Applied just for dad. Guess I am getting disowned by mom soon.

You can't do that. You have to have enough income to cover both parents even if you are only sponsoring one for PR.

Your wife can't submit interest for your parents. You both have to submit interest for your own parents

If you are selected to apply, you can only sponsor your own parents and grandparents. You can’t use your invitation to become a co-signer for your spouse or partner’s parents and grandparents. Find out more.

You can't do that. Unless your parents are divorced prior to you submitting the application. Whether your Mum is coming to Canada or not, they still have to be included as part of the family unit.

Hello, is the Income Requirement updated now?
I still see 2014 2015 2016 in the website.

if so. can you share the link.

Thanks in adavance.

The application isn't updated yet. Its unlikely to be updated until later in the month or possibly even till after the draw. The application forms at the moment are in relation to the 2017 PGP draw.

Once you go into the Online Submission, thats where it shows 2015,2016,2017.

Who would you like to sponsor? (required)
My own parents and grandparents
x My spouse or partners’ parents and grandparents

If you select my spouse or partners' parents and grandparents, you will get the above message.
So only 1 lottery entry for you and 1 for your wife and for your own/her own parents only.

Got it!!. If I select second option it doesn't allow me to proceed further. So, I have to submit one interest and I will ask my wife to submit another one for her parents. So, two spots to check our luck. Thanks.

Good Luck every one!!
